International students who have recently graduated with skills and qualifications relevant to specific occupations Australia needs can apply for this visa stream. The maximum stay on this visa is usually up to 18 months. To apply, the applicant must be less than 50 years of age, have qualification relevant to an occupation in the skilled occupation list and have positive skill assessment outcome for that qualification.
Those international students who have completed a CRICOS registered degree qualification from Australian institutions are eligible to apply for this visa stream. It allows the applicant to live and work temporarily in Australia from two to four years depending on the qualification. To be eligible, the applicant must be less than 50 years of age, hold an eligible visa and meet the English proficiency requirement.
